Document Guide

Start early. Some documents take time to obtain — bank letters, employer letters, or certified translations may require several business days.

Most visitor visa applications include some or all of the following:

• Valid passport — typically with at least six months validity beyond your planned return date and blank pages for visa stamps.
• Completed application form — filled accurately and signed where required.
• Passport-style photographs — meeting the size, background, and recency rules for your destination.
• Proof of travel — flight reservations, itinerary, or a detailed travel plan.
• Proof of accommodation — hotel bookings, rental agreements, or a host invitation letter.
• Financial evidence — bank statements, payslips, or sponsorship letters showing you can fund your trip.
• Employment or study proof — letter from employer, business registration, or enrolment confirmation.
• Ties to home country — evidence you intend to return, such as property ownership, family commitments, or ongoing employment.

Depending on your trip, you may also need:

• Tourism & Holiday — itinerary, activity bookings, and travel insurance where required.
• Family / Friends Visit — invitation letter from your host, their status proof, and relationship evidence.
• Business / Conference — invitation from the inviting company, conference registration, or meeting details.
• Medical Treatment — hospital or clinic correspondence and treatment plan documentation.
• Transit / Stopover — onward tickets and destination visas where required.
• Others — any additional supporting documents relevant to your specific travel purpose.

Upload clear, legible scans or photos. Avoid cropped edges, glare, or low resolution. Unless stated otherwise, colour copies are preferred for passports and identity documents.

Accepted formats are typically PDF, JPG, or PNG. Keep file sizes within the limits shown in your application dashboard. Multi-page documents should be combined into a single PDF where possible.

Do not submit altered, expired, or fraudulent documents. Embassies verify information and inconsistencies can lead to refusal or future travel restrictions.

Documents not in the official language of the destination may require certified translation. Some countries also require notarisation or apostille certification for certain records.
